Stephen Chiming Ho

何子明

Stephen was a managing director at DBS Bank Ltd. (“DBS”) in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan between 2001 and 2019.  He is now an independent director at Azeus Systems Holdings Ltd., Valuetronics Holdings  Ltd., and CeEntek Pte Ltd.

Prior to joining DBS Bank Ltd. Stephen was responsible for investment banking coverage at JPMorgan Chase for the Telecom, Media, and Technology ("TMT") sector in Asia. Stephen started his banking career in the mergers and acquisitions department at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York in 1989 before he focused on the TMT sector in the U.S. and Asia.  Prior to his appointment as the CEO of DBS Asia Capital, Stephen was responsible for TMT coverage globally at DBS.  Stephen was also responsible for DBS's business in the Middle East and Malaysia, during the period 2007-2009 and 2009-2010.  From 2014 to 2019, Stephen worked at the Institutional Banking Group at DBS (Taiwan) Ltd.

Moreover, Stephen is a member of the Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong ("CASH").  When he attended high school at St. Paul's Co-Educational College in Hong Kong, his compositions won multiple first-prize awards at the Hong Kong School Music Festival.  His works in popular music were widely released in Hong Kong and Taiwan in the 1990s.
